Jennifer Grey has spoken out and opened up about her relationship with Johnny Depp and the ongoing defamation trial against Amber Heard.
The 62-year-old actress, who was engaged to the 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star back in 1989, said the trial is breaking her heart while saying she “wishes everybody well.”
“All I can say about that trial is that it breaks my heart for everybody involved. I just think it’s sad and I wish it was resolved. I just wish everybody well,” Grey told Entertainment Tonight.
In her memoir, which was released last week, Jennifer also recalled her relationship with Depp as she branded him a “paranoid” man with an ill temper.
According to Grey, the actor would commonly get into bar fights and get “crazy jealous” about small things.
“Johnny was commuting every week back and forth from Vancouver, but had begun more and more regularly to be getting into trouble: fights in bars, skirmishes with cops,” she wrote of their long-distance relationship.
She added: “He’d started missing his flights home to LA having overslept or, when he did come home, he’d be crazy jealous and paranoid about what I’d been up to while he was gone.
“I attributed his ill temper and unhappiness to him feeling miserable and powerless to get off [the TV series] 21 Jump Street.”
Grey’s memoir Out Of The Corner comes as Amber Heard took the stand in the Fairfax court and unleashed a series of shocking allegations against her ex-husband.
The trial is set to continue on Monday.
