Johnny Depp took to the stage alongside legendary British guitarist Jeff Beck as the two held a concert in Finland.

The performance took place at Helsinki Blues Festival in Finland and marks Johnny’s first public appearance since his ex-wife Amber Heard reiterated her defamation allegations in an explosive interview with Today.

During her bombshell interview, Heard claimed she still loves the Pirates of the Caribbean star while insisting that he really did hit her. She also blasted the “unfair” trial and claimed she can’t pay Depp the $8.35 million she had been ordered to.

Johnny, however, doesn’t appear to be moved by his former lover’s repeated allegations whereas he only spoke out to thank the jury for giving him his life back following the high-profile verdict.

Since then, the aspiring rocker returned to the stage and performed covers of classic hits alongside Beck for the Helsinki Blues Festival.

The performance comes shortly after the pair, who have been good friends since 2016, announced they have paired up to release their own album featuring not only covers but also Depp’s original songs.

“When Johnny and I started playing together, it really ignited our youthful spirit and creativity. We would joke about how we felt 18 again so that just became the album title too,” Beck said in a statement.

“It’s an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother,” Depp added.

The album, titled ‘18’, will reportedly feature a total of 13 tracks including two Depp originals. It will be available on CD and digitally as early as July 15 this year.
