This is the weird moment President Joe Biden was seen beginning his farewell speech before being asked to stop in his first post-president gaffe.
The country’s former Head of State seems to be up to no good again. It was another awkward moment caught on television where he was seen asking which way to exit the stage while seeming clueless on stage after the handover of power to Donald Trump.
His presidency was certainly marked with a lot of senior moments and many did let him, considering his advancing age.
But on his last day, it was ironic for him to seem clueless and make weird comments, right before walking in the wrong direction. He even went as far as to mix up names.
After he took the stage at the Joint Base Andrews, he leaned into the microphone and started his speech with the music getting wound down.
As soon as the change was noticed, he thought it was his cue to speech but it was in reality just slowing down to make the change. The band then started the Star Spangled Banner.
This was the moment where Biden had to walk away from the microphone when he recognized the first couple of notes playing and knew he was at fault.
The gaffe didn’t go unnoticed by online viewers who felt it was time he get his act together.
