Singer Jessie J has welcomed her first child after suffering a heart-wrenching miscarriage two years ago.
The 35-year-old Price Tag hitmaker gave birth to a healthy baby boy one week ago, she revealed in one of her Instagram Stories.
The baby, who marks the singer’s first child, comes a year after Jessie went public with her relationship with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman.
“A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love,” the Flashlight singer wrote.
“He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world]. He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine.”
The emotional post concluded: “I am so grateful phew *happy tears*. For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support. I will be back on Instagram when I’m ready.”
Previously, in November 2021, the singer was left devastated after suffering a miscarriage and revealing that becoming a mom was all that she ever desired.
At the time, Jessie opened up about her ordeal and detailed the tragic experience in a series of candid social media posts.
Later, in April 2022, Jessie confirmed that she was dating the basketballer after the two sparked rumors when they were seen together in the Caribbean where Colman joined the singer during her work trip.
