Actor Jeremy Renner has reportedly broken his silence for the first time during a public interview.
The star shed light on his life, months after he crushed his 30 bones while trying to save his nephew. But if given the chance to reverse time, he would do it again.
The celeb’s life has come to an absolute standstill as doctors claim he may never lead the same life that he once did. And while that may be a bitter pill to swallow, he’s definitely very keen on making sure he makes progress with his health, slow and steady.
It was clear how the celeb was fighting back his tears when he recalled the moments that led to his debilitating injury that changed his life forever.
This is the star’s first interview since that incident took place. And it just goes to show how difficult this whole journey has been for him.
As far as making a return back to Hollywood is concerned, that might never be the case again. For now, he seems to be taking it slow and steady, one step at a time.
Renner recalls how he was crushed under the 7-ton heavy snow plow machine in Lake Tahoe while he was trying to clear up some snow on a morning when drastic weather conditions left the road outside his home covered.
He and his nephew were towing a car when the giant machine got out of control.
But in an attempt to save his nephew, from the machine, he came under it. And says that he did for him and would do it again without thinking twice.
Renner says he was trying to jump back into the Snowcat but inside, he came under it. And it was just devasting to see him suffer the most critical injuries along the way.
At first, doctors feared for his life as he was in the worst condition but with time, he has gotten considerably better. But the pain and loss of nerve in several areas of his body are hard to live with, not to mention the 30 fractured bones that require time for complete healing.
