JUST IN: Jeremy Renner, 52, Shares An Update And Reveals He’s Suffered ‘More Than 30 BROKEN Bones’


The Avengers star Jeremy Renner has shared an update from his hospital bed and revealed that he has suffered more than 30 broken bones.

The 52-year-old actor was airlifted to the hospital on January 1 after a snow plow ran over him. A spokesperson said at that time that Renner was in a ‘stable but critical’ condition.

However, new reports revealed more details about the horrific incident.

Renner was reportedly helping a stranded driver near his Nevada home when he got injured, leaving him with orthopedic injuries and blunt chest trauma.

He was heard crying out pain as the 911 call was made.

A source close to the actor told Radar Online about the severity of his injuries.

“The right side of Jeremy’s chest was crushed, and his upper torso had collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury,” the source said.

“He knew he was in bad shape and that he might not make it out of this.”

He seemed to be on the road to recovery as he has taken to social media and thanked fans for their well wishes.

“Thank you all for your kind words. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he wrote on Instagram.

In a new post, he shared a photo of him and wrote: “Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love.

“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I… Much love and appreciation to you all.”

He added: “These 30-plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all.”

Renner’s family also thanked hospital staff in a statement via TMZ.

“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families,” the statement read.
