10 People Killed and 55 Injured After Double-Decker Bus RIPPED APART Train


At least 10 people have passed away after a train ended up ploughing through a giant double-decker bus that stopped on a level crossing.

A further 55 people were severely injured in the horror that saw the bus get cut in half.

Shocking new images were shared that show half of the bus on either side of the freight train and its roof being ripped off in the horror crash.

Emergency services were seen rushing ot the scene in the industrial area of warehouses and factories located in the town of Atlacomulco in Mexico. This is 80 miles northwest of Mexico City. So far, the cause of this crash is yet to be established.

CCTV footage displayed the bus inching forward through bumper-to-bumper traffic, but the moment it began crossing the tracks, the train ended up ramming into the passenger side. This pushed the front half of the bus down the tracks.

There were no visible crossing gates or other kinds of stop lights, as per witnesses. The train’s momentum carried the bus down the tracks and out of the frame.

The front half came to a standstill in the opposing traffic lanes beside the crossing, and the rear half farther down on the opposite side of the tracks.

The country’s civil defense agency shared on X how the authorities were still busy working at the site of the accident, and the state’s prosecutor’s office shared more about how it had opened up a new investigation.
