Injured pilots from Russia were recently seen on viral footage begging for mercy after their aircraft was shot down by Ukrainian forces.
The pilots were seen covered in blood wearing an orange-toned jumpsuit, as they got on their knees in the field.
The startling video comes as the footage featured how both pilots managed to eject out of their damaged aircraft, after being struck by Ukraine’s forces from the Su-30 jets that flew over the city of Chernihiv yesterday.
In another separate footage, one of the pilots is donning a white t-shirt that’s covered in blood, moments after his jet crash lands into the field.
The news comes on a day when Russia’s aerial forces lost as many as eight different aircraft, alongside plenty of close air support with drones too.
While some of the men could be seen pleading for help, others begged for their mercy, adding how they were only following the instructions that were given to them.
All the pilots were ordered to keep their hands behind their heads the whole time as blood continued to run down their faces and bodies in a continuous flow.
Another viral footage shows one Russian pilot wearing a blue-toned jumpsuit that again is covered in blood, as he gets treated by Ukraine’s paramedical staff on the field.
As his head is being treated with a bandage, he begins to nod as he’s interviewed by Ukraine’s forces.
On the other hand, another video was also making its way on social media where several pilots were forced onto a van with blood dripping across their faces. Along the way, they are also interrogated by Ukraine’s forces.
Ukraine says that it also managed to down one Russian helicopter yesterday, just outside the capital city of Kyiv.
The incident was celebrated with great joy in Ukraine after the country comes under constant attack every single day.
