The deadly Air India flight that killed 241 passengers and many others on the ground is one tragedy that still remains a mystery.
However, a recent incident involving another Air India flight is taking center stage after it fell 900 feet, just days after the devastating crash.
During take off, sources shared how the AI187 nearly lost 9oo feet in altitude and triggered several warnings, including a stall alert and Don’t sink Ground Proximity Warning System, as shared in a new report by the Times of India.
Both the warnings of stall and don’t sink are part of the warning regarding a dangerous loss of lift and altitude that arises after takeoff, and the fact that it was a similar incident to the crash of the past is certainly alarming.
Experts claim that the purpose of the warnings is for the pilots to take immediate and corrective action to avoid any crash.
While the pilots did manage to stabilize the plane and complete the flight to Vienna, both have since then been grounded, and now a full-blown investigation is being carried out to determine the reason for such warnings and why they may have taken place.
