King Charles is being very cautious and indecisive over whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children can utilize their royal titles or not.
According to local media outlets, the new monarch is yet to decide if little Archie and Lilibet will be allowed to use their ‘prince and princess’ titles in the first place. The news was confirmed by royal experts who added how the tension is really building up in this regard.
The royal editor for The Times says the delay is quite significant and it’s not helping in terms of the already hyped up and tense ordeal that has arisen.
The grandchildren of the monarch have been in the spotlight ever since the Queen passed away as many wondered whether or not they’d still be considered royal members after their parents had given up their royal titles and duties.
Katie Nicholl who is another royal expert says the King strongly feels that he needed to trust the Sussexes first. So it’s not clear if that means his decision would be taken with their input or solely based on what the King feels is right.
For those who may not be aware, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children are entitled to the titles of Prince and Princess, after the Queen’s death. But it’s shocking to see how their names are listed without the titles on the website belonging to the Royal Family.
