Democrats are calling for the impeachment of President Trump after his decision to demolish the entire East Wing of the White House.

This call is under heavy criticism as the US President falsely promised in the past that his construction of the mega ballroom would not interfere with the East Wing, but that does not seem to be the case right now.

Many referred to Trump’s decision to construct the ballroom using his own private funds as wasteful and symbolic of mis-priorities.

Others described this construction has useless and serving no purpose. The construction crews were seen tearing into parts of the wing to make way for a new ballroom associated with Trump. Critics argued that the project is taking place with little to transparency and now the costs have soared to a staggering $350 million.

Some strongly feel that the demolition sends the wrong signal about preservation versus luxury, while others call out the US President for erasing history.

“This is not his private property, it’s a shame what this nation has to witness”- another shared. Trump shared that private donors are willing to cover the costs while officials shared that Trump plans on naming the ballroom shamelessly after himself with no regrets whatsoever.
