Rep Ilhan Omar was seen getting into a heated argument with Kaitlin Collins from CNN recently.
The D-Minn Rep clashed over her opinions regarding Charlie Kirk, adding how it was time the world moved on, as Charlie Kirk was a man who didn’t need to be celebrated.
If that was not controversial enough, she further recommended that his legacy be thrown in the dustbin of history because that’s what he deserved.
Collins pressed Omar regarding why she reposted the video that said: ‘Kirk was Dr. Frankenstein and his monster shot him through the neck!” Omar fiercely responded by adding that there were a lot of things in that video that she did not agree with. She also mentioned that we all shared things, and we don’t need to agree with everything that’s being shown.
But then things went downhill after she referred to him as a reprehensible and hateful man. ‘He didn’t believe that we should have equal access to anything and that’s wrong’- she added.
She also shared that he didn’t even believe that she could be smart enough, and that really bothered her to the core! “I could be smart enough, I could have thoughts that could be equal to a White man!’- she added.
