What would you do if your woman ended up growing facial hair?
This is not a hypothetical question but a reality of one couple. The husband ran away after seeing what his wife was up to but if you think that would be enough to deter her from growing more, well, you’re sadly mistaken.
Mandeep Kaur who hails from India says that the infatuation with growing facial hair is definitely a unique one for some people but it came naturally to her.
But while she may enjoy the thought behind it, the same was not true for her husband. He did not like it one bit and requested her to stop.
Despite giving her threats of a divorce, she refused to listen and in the end, he went away. But that did not stop her from carrying out the bizarre trends of growing facial hair and now a complete beard.
In a country like India, the news has gone even more viral because of how conservative communities are and this was definitely not something you hear or see each day.
The newly confident female farmer says she is really loving her look and has no time for negativity in her life. People do try to bring her down but it does not affect her anymore.
In fact, she says that the decision is a personal one for her and she has no regrets. The decision is one that is linked to spirituality she claims. In the Sikh religion, cutting facial hair is not permissible.
“My facial hair may have driven my husband away but thanks to my spirituality, I’m loving it. Faith has taught me to accept it and that’s exactly what I am doing”- she concluded.
