Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71.
According to reports from local media outlets, paramedics were dispatched to the wrestling legend’s Clearwater, Florida, home early Thursday morning with operators stating that it was regarding a cardiac arrest.
As per TMZ, police cars and emergency medical technicians were seen making their way to the star’s home, from where he was rushed on a stretcher and put inside an ambulance.
Hogan’s wife, whom he married in September of 2023, reportedly claimed last week that her partner was recovering well following an intense surgery.
As per Penn Live, a screenshot of the Instagram Story showed a question from a fan who asked whether Hogan was in a state of coma and dying.
She replied that this was not true and that his heart was strong and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors is true. He was said to have been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion procedure, which is a serious surgery and requires a long healing process.
