Nine people were killed and at least three more were injured after a fire broke out at a care home for the elderly in Massachusetts.

The incident took place last night at 9:50 pm and triggered a total of five alarms at the Gabriel House Assisted Living facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, which is 50 miles south of Boston, as per fire officials.
