Vice President Kamala Harris is facing an incredible amount of backlash after she recently put up a tone-deaf image of herself vowing to fight for the abortion rights of US citizens.

But many felt her words fell short of her actions, as usual, as she was only pictured watching the madness occur from her Air Force 2 recently.

Social media quickly became abuzz by the vice president’s behavior, whom they felt was only good at looking at matters instead of actually going about doing something to solve it.

The US has been facing a lot of criticism recently from around the globe after the American Supreme Court reportedly overruled the historic Roe v. Wade that granted women the freedom to carry out abortions. But now, that right has been taken away from them, thanks to the SCOTUS whose 6-3 ruling shocked the country.

As a result, hundreds have come out onto the streets to protest against the decision that they deem to be inhuman and irrational, not to mention one that was against the nation’s constitution.

Now, seeing an image like this of Kamala Harris has really ignited another debate altogether as many feel the current administration needs to do more than just put up images that make them look great.

The picture by the VP was posted through her official Twitter account on Friday night and that’s when activists were seen storming onto the comments section to have their say on what they felt about Harris’ image.

Kamala tweeted: “I know that there are so many women out there that are so afraid. To everyone that feels that they’re alone in all of this and scared, I want you all to realize that you aren’t. The President and I are fighting for your rights and we are with you in this together”- she continued.

But that message didn’t go down well with too many people. They felt lawmakers like Harris were so out of touch with the reality while slamming her words as nothing more than thoughts and prayers.
