The White House has reportedly sent over two planes full of staffers to take part in the Charlie Kirk funeral today.
The news was confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who shared the news on Saturday.
The immense interest in celebrating the life of the slain Turning Point USA founder underscores how deeply Kirk affected leaders in the nation’s capital, she added.
‘We are actually taking two planes full of staff from the White House!’- Leavitt added to Fox News.
‘That just speaks to how many people were touched at the highest levels of our government. And he will surely be honored and remembered for all of this tomorrow’- the post read. The memorial service for Kirk would take place today at 11 am local time at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
This event is expected to draw close to 100,000 mourners and will entail remarks from President Trump and many other leading high-profile government officials.
‘The president, the vice president, and the speaker of the house – we have Cabinet secretaries who would be speaking’- Leavitt mentioned in regards to this memorial service, which has been given the highest level of security designation by the Department of Homeland Security recently.
