Donald Trump has informed families of Israeli hostages that their loved ones will be coming home soon by Monday after Israel and Hamas agreed to phase one of the peace deal.
The American Head of State was seen announcing the news late last night about how both sides will put a pause to fighting and release some of the hostages and prisoners. Trump shared the glad tidings through his account on social media.
‘All of the hostages will be released very soon and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps towards a strong, durable, and everlasting peace,’ he added.
Qatar, which assisted in brokering this deal alongside Turkey and Egypt, said it was the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which would lead to an end to the war.
Meanwhile, the PM of the UK, Sir Keir Starmer, hailed the news as a moment of profound relief that would be felt all over the globe.point 367 |
