At least one person was killed and 32 were injured in a horrifying tour bus crash in the LA area on Mother’s Day.
A tour bus collided with a vehicle on the 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights around 5:07 am, and that caused the vehicle to catch on fire.
This pushed the tour bus into the shoulder lane, as per the Los Angeles County Fire Department Public Information Officer Fred Fielding.
All of those who were injured were rushed to the hospital. Two are reportedly said to be in critical condition, while the others are said to be in various states.
The vehicle, understood to be a Nissan SUV, was burned with the driver trapped inside when the authorities arrived to the scene a few minutes later.
The car driver, understood to be the sole occupant in the car, was killed. However, the fire was contained and didn’t spread to the bus, the LAFD shared on the X app. The tour bus’s windshield was said to be cracked as a result of the crash. Investigations are now taking place to determine the cause of the crash. Right now, it’s just said to be bizarre and alarming, as witnesses claim it all happened so fast.
