Four people were recently arrested in connection with a shooting spree that took place in a Mississippi homecoming football game, which resulted in six people dying and wounding several others.
The authorities have charged the suspects with attempted murder for Friday’s shooting, as confirmed by a spokesperson who was familiar with the matter.
Earlier, it was shared how the FBI was seeking the help of the general public to try and locate the whereabouts of four people in connection with the shooting.
On Sunday, the agency shared images of one female and three male suspects in surveillance videos where the identities of the suspects were very visible. Sources revealed how other arrests are still pending at this moment in time.
The shooting took place at about midnight on Main Street in Leland, as confirmed by the Mayor while speaking to the press.
The four victims who were killed in the tragedy were also revealed as their loved ones demand justice and a transparent investigation. Two of the victims were rushed to the hospital alive but their fatal injuries got the best of them, sources shared.
Ten others were treated at the hospital and are said to be recovering. Their identities are yet to be shared.
Several of the victims were recent graduates of Leland High School who returned for a popular annual reunion at the school’s homecoming football game.
