JUST IN: 96-Year-Old ‘Holocaust Survivor’ KILLED In Russian Rocket Attack In Kharkiv


A loving grandfather has reportedly been killed in a brutal Russian shelling attack in Kharkiv.

According to local media reports, the victim was identified as 96-year-old Boris Romantschenko who died on Friday in the tragic rocket attack.

Boris was a loving grandfather who had endured four Nazi concentration camps during the years 1943 to 1945, which was in the Second World War.

His tragic death has been confirmed by his loved ones who are beyond devastated to share the news at a recent Holocaust Memorial Foundation.

Boris was killed when a giant rocket struck his apartment building block in Kharkiv.

The incident was reported by the Buchenwald Memorial and Foundation which supports education relating to the Holocaust as well as Nazi Germany. Moreover, they added how they were so deeply saddened by the sudden death of a loving member.

“We are mourning the loss of a loving and dear close friend. We are also wishing his son and granddaughter that brought forward the sad news, a great deal of strength to bear this difficult time”- the statement from the foundation continued.

Romantschenko is said to have been then Vice President of the Buchenwald-Dora International Committee in the Ukrainian nation.

He was also declared to be so deeply engaged in the memorial as well as a number of remembrance parades, they continued.

Although he was not born Jewish, he is said to have been taken away by soldiers in Germany when he was just 16 years old and then deported to the city of Dortmund in the year 1942.
