The state of New Jersey was just hit by a strong aftershock, just a few hours after an earthquake struck New York City today.
Footage from one source showed a barber trembling salon with a child while other reports spoke about people rushing to the streets to understand what was going on.
The aftershock was said to be reported at about 6 pm ET during the evening hours of Friday as explained by local media outlets.
While the intensity was not said to be as severe as that taking place in the Garden State of New York, residents in New Jersey spoke about how it was just as scary.
But with that being said, many are speaking about how shocking it was for them to learn that the state’s authorities reported and confirmed the earthquake around 40 minutes late. This took place at 10:32 am and it resulted in absolute mayhem for those who were not suspecting it.
This particular aftershock arose after sources could track back its epicenter just southwest of Gladstone in North Jersey. Therefore, all residents were advised to remain indoors and to call 911 rescue services if they suspected any kind of injury.
