Millie Bobby Brown is opening up about her close friendship with costar Henri Cavill and how the duo has a series of strict boundaries that need to be followed.
You might assume that in the world of acting, many celebs end up letting things slide so easily but that does not seem to be the case here, that’s for sure.
The 18-year-old star says she was recently asked by Deadline about how her camaraderie with the 39-year-old star Cavill. It really differed from that seen of the Stanger Things co-stars Noah Schnapp and Charlie Heaton.
The celeb says it was so different for her because she reportedly grew up with him and for her, it was like a buddy friendship that went on since the age of 10.
Brown has known her male co-star since the process of filming began for the first installment of Enola Holmes.
This is where she could be seen playing the famous titular character and that is where Cavill played her famous detective brother, Sherlock Holmes.
The duo says their friendship is really great and one that’s healthy. They’ve both got terms and conditions, she went on to add.
What really makes this friendship so great and healthy is linked to a great many boundaries put up in regard to discussing their own personal lives with each other.
“I think I know Henry really well. He has some great terms and conditions with me. I am not allowed to ask him for details about his personal life. It’s like no Millie, shut up! No, and I know immediately that I need to stop, or else he’s getting angry”- she continued.
For Brown, the whole dynamics linked to the situation are very different. Her young Stranger Things colleagues claim they’ve grown up with one another over the past six years. So with others, she can say anything as the boundaries are not there. But here, it’s all about respecting those huge boundaries in place.
