An Oscar-winning director was heckled while delivering an impassioned critique of Donald Trump’s foreign policy.

The Oscars 2025 took a shocking turn when the incident arose all of a sudden, with many questioning what exactly took place that day.

The news comes as the Israel-Palestine crisis deepens with the former not abiding by the ceasefire deal discussed at the start.

Basel Adra gripped the Oscar for the movie Best Documentary for No Other Land while another member from the crowd could be heard yelling at the top of his lungs, ‘Get rid of Hamas!’

Adra is a leading Palestinian activist who made the movie documenting how there was destruction of his homeland in the West Bank alongside a journalist from Israel named Yuval Abraham.

Speaking to the giant crowd of people located there, Abraham was heard saying things like, ‘When I look at Basel, I see my brother. But we are not the same in terms of equality. We live inside a regime where I am free under the civilian law and Basel is under military law that gets rid of life and is something that cannot be controlled.
