Amber Heard Stayed In Luxury $22,000-A-Month Mansion With Theater, Spa And Tennis Court During Defamation Battle With Depp


It has just emerged that Amber Heard, 36, stayed in a $22,000-a-month mansion in Virginia during her defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp, 58.

But after the jury ruled that she defamed the Pirates of the Caribbean star, the Aquaman actress said she can’t afford to pay the $8 million she owes him.

According to reports, she was ordered to pay him $15 million – $5 million in punitive damages and $10 million in compensation.

But the judge later capped the damages at Virginia maximum of $350,000 and deducted the $2 million Depp had to pay Heard.

Now, the actress owes him $8.35 million.

Her attorney, Elaine Bredhoft, said that Heard ‘absolutely’ cannot pay the damages, adding that she intends to appeal the jury’s verdict.

Despite her legal team’s claims that she has financial problems, the actress still managed to stay in a mansion with her family during the defamation trial, TMZ reported.

Heard reportedly stayed in the 13,000-square-foot mansion, which features a home movie theater, a tennis court, and eight bedrooms.

A listing for the mansion describes the property as “one of the most distinctive and private estates offered in McLean.” It boasts a two-story grand Foyer with a stylish double curved staircase.

While rental records do not show Heard’s name, they reveal that the property was rented on May 4, 2020.point 299 |

Appearing on the Today Show, Bredhoft said that Heard has ‘excellent grounds’ to appeal the verdict.
