Amber Heard demanded Johnny Depp let her live in three of his penthouses for free, Fairfax County heard on Thursday.
The jury was presented documents by Heard’s lawyer addressed to Depp’s legal team in May 2016, which also included a list of financial demands from the Aquaman star only days after she filed for divorce.
In the letter, Heard claimed her ex hit her with a mobile phone, which the actor denies.
The letter from Heard’s lawyer at that time, Samantha Spector, said the actress hadn’t filed for a court order against Depp as she was keen to find “long term solutions out of the public eye.”
Spector also requested for her client to have “exclusive use and possession” of a black Range Rover and being able to live at three penthouses in West Hollywood with “Johnny to continue to pay mortgage and utility bills.”
The letter also asked Depp for a $100,000 contribution towards legal fees and $25,000 forensic accounting costs.
“As you maybe aware your client and Amber’s husband, Johnny Depp, attacked and threatened Amber on Saturday night, May 21st, in their penthouse apartment,” the letter read.
“There are several witnesses to this particular incident and there are photographs depicting the property damage Johnny caused, as well as the physical injuries on Amber.
“Unfortunately, this is not the first incident of domest*c v*olence perpetrated by Johnny against Amber. In fact, there have been two other incidents in the past six months.”
It added: “Although Amber is afraid of Johnny, she strongly insists that we do everything possible to keep this matter out of the media spotlight, which is why she has not yet sought a CLETS DV TRO and why we did not arrange for Johnny to have been personally served at last night’s movie premiere.”
Depp vehemently denies Heard’s allegations.
It is unclear how Depp’s attorneys responded but Heard applied for a temporary restra*ning order against the actor on May 27.
