“I Always Wanted A Girl & Now That I Am Having TWIN Boys, I’m NOT Happy! Should I Feel Guilty?”


One woman is going public with her personal rants regarding gender disappointment and she feels there is absolutely nothing wrong in admitting to it.

The young mother mentioned how she always wished to have a baby girl but when her ultrasound scans revealed she was having twin boys, that did not sit down well with her. In fact, she was happy.

It all began during the couple’s gender reveal party. 21-year-old Ashley Cesare says that every parent deserves the right to have their wishes respected and in terms of her preference for gender, she always wanted a girl.

Hence, having not one but two boys instead was definitely not something she or anyone saw coming.

The stay-at-home mom who hails from New York adds that life can be awfully cruel sometimes and she noticed that when she sparked intense backlash from netizens while pregnant.

“I always had my mind set on having a girl. It’s just as simple as that!”- she says. But the disappointment she had during her pregnant gender reveal and the reactions caught on camera had people in shock.

People reminded the soon-to-be mother about how many parents would die to be in her position because they want kids but simply can’t have them.

And as you can imagine, she didn’t like that comment one bit. She felt that it was time that people stopped faking happiness and instead, opted to jump on the bandwagon linked to expressing disappointment when they were not happy.

Ashley says that the whole reason behind her feeling in this manner was simple. She did not want to raise boys as she’s always feared them as those that are hard to deal with.

But with time, it all just ended up working out in her favor. She got over her fear and is now happily raising her sons. She adds that her story is for those mothers that might feel the same way as her.
