Boston Mayor SLAMS Trump’s Hateful Agenda After Threat to Pull FIFA World Cup Games From Her City


The Mayor of Boston pushed back after the American president Donald Trump threatened to move the FIFA World Cup matches out of the Boston area, due to safety reasons.

The city has long been working hard to prepare to host the seven matches that are all set to take place next summer and that entails a quarterfinal when the tournament arrives in North America.

Now, Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu is slamming the president and described his agenda as hateful when he shared that he might need to alter the decsion of allowing the city to host the games, citing its safely level.

She mentioned in a statement that Boston is both excited and honored to host the World Cup matches and it looks forward to welcoming fans from all over the globe.

Trump not only cited the reason being as safety concerns but he also criticized Mayor Michelle Wu’s leadership. The Mayor has since then pushed back those claims and highlighted contractual protections and committments of Boston to standing firm on its values.

The President mentioned more about how he would be contacting the FIFA President Infantino to discuss relocation of the games but he also reminded the world that it was indeed FIFA who would be making the final calls on this matter.
