Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were deliberately not invited to the grand Trooping the Color event featuring King Charles’ official birthday celebration.
This is known as one of the royal family’s most high-profile yearly events. But as per reports from local media outlets, this is not the first time that they have been out.
It’s actually the third year in a row. The decision continues to pattern the set after Charles took over as King in the year 2022.
The last time Harry and Meghan attended this Trooping event was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which were held in June 2022.
Even then, the couple was noticeably kept out of public view, and therefore had to watch the parade from a separate room alongside several other non-working royals.
They could not join the traditional balcony appearance either. The news came after Harry was denied protocol from the UK for the security of him and his family. This was the point where the Duke of Sussex shared that he could never bring back his wife and kids after this, as the threat was too much.
