The Duke and Duchess of Sussex flashed a smile at adoring crowds as they were reunited with the Royal Family during the celebrations of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Meghan Markle, 40, looked out of the car window with her husband Prince Harry gazing over her shoulder as they traveled through the crowds near Buckingham Palace.
The video of the Sussexes emerged as Her Majesty was seen returning to Windsor Castle.
Building manager Emily Sevenoaks said she did not know it was the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when she started filming on Cleveland Row.
Speaking to Mail Online, she said: “I honestly had no idea it was them. “I heard police escorts and flew over with the camera ready and then I realized mid filming… I was very lucky!”
Harry and Meghan were believed to be on their way to the Buckingham Palace before the flypast, which featured 71 aircraft.
People on social media immediately shared their thoughts on the video, with one Twitter user writing: “Her smile says ‘I’m baaaackk!’”
Another wrote: “Harry is already on high alert. Look at his face.”
Some critics mocked the Duchess of Sussex for rolling the car window down after Harry recently claimed that they were ‘unable to return home’ because the UK was too dangerous for his family.
This comes as he’s taking legal action against the Home Office after their permanent police protection was removed when he stepped down as a working royal.
“When you are petrified about security issues but still choose to pull the window down for a photo-op in the Queen’s procession,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another said: “Wow take Home Office to Court for Top Security? Meghan, wait I see a camera put Window down? No wonder Haz looking at her.”
