A source told Page Six that things between the brothers were “still fraught” and that the Duke of Cambridge “is still wary of spending any time along with Harry as you never quite know what may be reported back afterwards.”

This comes Harry and Meghan finally shared a new photo of Lilibet, who celebrated her first birthday at Windsor with balloons, picnic snacks, party cakes, and birthday cake.

Zara and Mike Tindall and their three children were in attendance, as well as the two daughters of Peter Philips. However, Lilibet’s first cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were not present.

Prince Charles may have also got her a swing similar to the one he purchased for Prince George.

It is understood that the Sussexes were banned from taking photos of their daughter meeting the Queen for the first time.

The photographer hasn’t been named but it may be their pal Misan Harriman, who has photographed Meghan and Harry several times.

Tom Bower, an investigative journalist, said: “Meghan must have been furious when she heard that photographs of their Windsor meeting were forbidden.

“Banned from the balcony for Trooping the Color, no shot of her with the Queen in St Paul’s and then the final blow was no shot of Lilibet with her great-grandmother.

“Finally, the Palace is playing a good hand.”
