The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been demoted to the bottom of the Royal Family’s webpage –alongside Prince Andrew and minor members of the royal family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were previously placed around halfway down the website – just below senior royals and above minor royals.
But now, the couple have been placed all the way down to the bottom alongside the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.
Prince Michael of Kent and his wife, neither of whom are working members of the royal family, have also been removed from the page, according to The Telegraph.
The Queen’s cousins – Princess Alexandra, the Duke of Kent, and the Duke of Gloucester – all remain on the page as they are working members.
According to reports, the Kents have carried out over 200 royal engagements, all funded by the Prince’s own household instead of taxpayers.
It is widely reported that the newly crowned monarch, King Charles, plans a ‘slimmed-down’ monarchy during his reign as he believes people do not want to pay for an ever-expanding Royal Family.
Harry and Meghan were first moved down the page 15 months ago, having previously placed just below the Prince and Princess of Wales.
This comes as the Sussexes flew back to the US shorty after the Queen’s state funeral without resolving their differences with the King and Prince of Wales.
William and Harry showed unity in support of their father as he grieved the death of his mother, the Queen.
But with the Duke of Sussex’s memoirs scheduled to be released later this year, it remains to be uncertain if their fragile truce will hold.
