The Duke of Sussex is homesick and misses his family, friends, as well as the military, a royal commentator has claimed.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were in the UK when the Queen passed away at the age of 96.
He and his brother Prince William have been seen together in public several times since their grandmother died.
Harry and William viewed tributes to the Queen outside Windsor Castle alongside their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
They were also together with Her Majesty’s six other grandchildren for a solemn vigil as she lies in state at Westminster Hall.
But Angela Levin questioned whether Harry actually enjoys his American lifestyle after stepping down from his royal duties and moving to California in 2020.
Speaking to The Sun, Levin said: “In the wake of the Queen’s death, Harry has been catapulted back into the fold of the family, and King Charles and Prince William have provided a gigantic olive branch.
“I think William has behaved with enormous decency. Harry is sixth in line and has been positioned as such. But for stability to be forged there has to be compromise from both sides, but mostly from Harry.”
The royal commentator also said that the Duke of Sussex had previously told her that he was keen to support his brother when he inherits the throne.
But she said that bombshell interviews of Harry and Meghan had left deep wounds that needed healing.
Levin says that Harry must “apologize before they can move forward” and also speculated that William may want assurances from his younger brother that no conversations will be given to the media.
Urging the Duke to stop the publication of his memoir, she said “the manuscript needs to go in the bin.”
“I am told Harry is homesick and misses family, friends and the military, who he is no longer in close contact with,” she said.
While the Duke of Sussex enjoys being with Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet, Levin claimed that he may not enjoy other aspects of their lives in the US.
