President Trump complimented Kate Middleton during the official welcome for the US state visit to the UK on September 17.
The Princess of Wales and Prince William were seen greeting the President and First Lady Melania Trump on the grounds of Windsor Castle, where the ceremonial arrival marked the start of the visit.
As they shook hands, Trump told Princess Kate that she is beautiful and then went on to mention that she’s so beautiful again, gushing over the future queen.
The exchange came moments after the Trumps stepped off Marine One and greeted the royal couple. Prince William guided the group forward, placing one hand on Kate and the other on Melania’s backs as they started to walk together.
President Trump and his wife are visiting the US at the invitation of King Charles for an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom, which officially runs from Wednesday to Thursday this week.
The US President had previously commented on Prince William’s appearance and called the future king or heir to the throne a very handsome gentleman.
