A wedding proposal was seen going horribly in public after a man decided to get down on one knee and offer his girlfriend a gummy ring.
As the old saying goes, taking the leap is not an easy task. And if you choose to do it in public, well, you better make sure it’s going to go down right.
In this case, the exact opposite happened and the girlfriend was not the least bit impressed.
The incident took place at a recent MLB baseball game and as you can imagine, all eyes were on the couple as they went about their private affairs. As the crowd cheered on, many were in shock to see what was on offer while others felt it was good enough to be a prank.
The sight of the gummy bear ring was not only shocking but a huge turnoff for the woman who decided to retaliate by slapping her partner. It was as if she wished to give him a wake-up call that he’d probably remember for a long time. And seeing it broadcast live on social media, well, it’s definitely going to be a historic moment.
Hundreds were rooting in the crowds at the Toronto Rogers Center to watch the Blue Jays play against the Boston Red Sox. But when the proposal came up, people were keen on how it would go down.
“That’s what you call a sweet proposal going horribly wrong!”- commented one viewer and many couldn’t agree more.
The footage has since then gone viral and the guy has been called out as very unlucky while others called out the girlfriend for being a gold digger because she didn’t get the diamond that she deserved.
