Shocking new footage shows R&B singer Mario getting groped by a female fan during his live performance on stage, sparking outrage across the board.
In the bizarre clip that was shared online, he could be seen singing on stage before a female’s hand reached up from the audience and started to rub his private regions.
The 39 year old momentarily stopped to address the female and seemed to be telling her something in a very stern voice before swiftly resuming his performance.
The press did reach out to the star’s team of reps for additional comments on the matter but they did not hear back from them. The moment is believed to have taken place at Mario’s show at the Masonic Jack White theater in Detroit, Michigan.
The video came with a distressing warning which featured an upset emoji. Since then, it’s been going viral online and many are calling out fans who feel this is okay while others feel it’s a form of sexual assault and harassment and needs to be addressed more seriously to prevent others from behaving like this in the future.
