Singer Ariana Grande was seen bidding farewell to her iconic role of Glinda the Good Witch.
The star was recently diagnosed with COVID-19, forcing her to take an unexpected break from the movie’s promotions despite the film being out in movie theaters. Grande paid tribute to her iconic role with a sweet message and various behind-the-scenes clicks.
‘Thank you, my sweet Glinda, for everything. I will love you always. Wicked for Good is out now’- she went on to caption this post.
The images captured Grande throughout the shoot, from the making of Glinda’s opulent pink gown to her different pictures from the magical set; it was a treat for the senses.
Grande shared how sad she is because she cannot properly celebrate after coming down with the COVID-19 infection. The star and actress shared this news through an Instagram story on Thursday, posting a still from her recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, alongside the caption: ‘Moments before COVID’.
The star’s diagnosis comes just days after she chose to skip press interviews at the New York premiere of For Good in a show of solidarity with co-star Cynthia Erivo, who was not well and had lost her voice at this time.
The press tour itself has been anything but smooth for her.
