A young girl who made a fortune following the success of her business has announced plans to retire before becoming a teenager.

11-year-old Pixie, the daughter of Aussie PR figure Roxy Jacenko, launched a successful toy company that saw her rake in $200,000 a month.

As Jacenko now revealed, her daughter is ready to ‘semi-retire’ and step down from her business duties to focus on her education after securing a stable financial future.

“Pixie has decided to hang her online toy store shoes up to focus on her impending entry into high school,” the proud mother admitted in an interview with News.com.au.

“Over the past few months, we have been discussing the business plans going forward as a family and decided it was time to refocus with high school just around the corner.”

Jacenko also explained that Pixie’s business, which includes a fidget spinner store and Pixie’s Bows accessories, is not shutting down any time soon. Instead, the operations will be scaled down a notch to allow her daughter to prioritize her education.

“You know, what is the most exciting for me is the entrepreneurial spirit she has at such a young age,” the mother told Stellar magazine back in December as she predicted her daughter would be able to retire by the age of 15.

“So, I guess to me the biggest thing is her drive as an entrepreneur. Yes, I’ve enabled it, but she’s still got it, which is for me the most rewarding part.”

While the future remains unclear, the PR queen has dubbed her daughter a ‘natural businesswoman’ as she implied Pixie might take on new business ventures as time goes by.
