It’s not uncommon to hear about fast food chains making some errors in customers’ orders but this next incident might make you feel sorry for one young woman.
For many vegetarians, the smell, sound, or sight of meat can be a lot to handle, let alone the taste itself.
Therefore, an error made by McDonald’s in a vegetarian girl’s order left her traumatized for life when the restaurant opted to serve her meat inside a veggie wrap.
This was the first time that she was eating meat and she didn’t like the unwanted surprise by any means.
The startling incident took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in Corstorphine in Edinburgh where the vegetarian order was transformed into an absolute nightmare.
After realizing the grave mistake that the chain had made, the young woman adds how she began to vomit and break down into tears at the same time. She says that she trusted the restaurant and what they gave her in return was definitely not something she had asked for.
Her horrifying experience was soon posted on her Twitter account, where the woman revealed how she didn’t have a care in the world regarding the level of backlash she would get for this.
“I am beyond traumatized becasue I did not ask for this. How can you serve a vegetarian chicken that has been labeled as a veggie burger,” she ranted.
“I’ve never eaten meat. This is dangerous and you can’t just mislabel something. I just threw up and I certainly feel sick,” she continued.
“I was starving and looking forward to my meal and when I bit into it and swallowed, I soon realized that this is not what I had ordered,” the woman explained.
The woman also revealed how the fact that it tasted like meat didn’t register with her senses as she had never consumed meat in her life.
At the moment, the woman is in contact with the Customer Service Team from McDonald’s and hopes to get a good justification as to how and why an incident like this took place.
