Clara Robinson was reportedly swept away by violent floodwaters on Christmas Eve, and since then, her parents have launched a search for her whereabouts.

Clara Robinson was with her loved ones as she was traveling from Oklahoma to Texas for the holidays when the SUV was slammed with a deluge of raging floodwaters near the border of Northern Texas.

The family’s vehicle hydroplaned off US Highway 75 in Sherman and was swept into Post Oak Creek, with Clara’s dad tragically killed in the aftermath of the terrifying moment.

Two other family members were rescued from the waters, but authorities never found Clara, which led to the urgent search.

Search teams scoured the water with dogs, helicopters, and divers for weeks after the crash took place. Meanwhile, the nonprofit Texas EquuSearch took over the mission in the latter part of January.

Now, they’ve paused all the search operations and informed the family that they have to conclude the search.
