Bill Gates just admitted that he split from Melinda Gates after a 27 marriage but that was one of his life’s biggest regrets.
The billionaire shared more about what things bother him so much until this day and many were stunned that this was one of them.
‘I’m more cheerful now’- he shared during his recent interview with the Times of London that was published on Saturday. But at the same time, he adds that the unraveling of his marriage is one of the biggest mistakes that he regrets today.
While he admits that he’s got many other failures in his books the end of his marriage tops the list, he continued.
The Microsoft co-founder says that nothing else hurts or matters as much as that divorce and perhaps if he could go back into time and erase one memory, it would be that day when he chose to split from a woman that he will always cherish forever.
For two years, he and Melinda had to go through so much. They’ve both been miserable as it was not easy to accept that someone you thought would be your forever is no longer that.
The pair are currently dating two other people and they continue to maintain a friendship outside their past relationship after the split.
He and Melinda continue to see one another and they’ll always have this respect for one another. But right now, they have three kids and two grandkids so there are plenty of family events. The kids keep doing well and they have great values, he shared and that means a lot.
