A very heated argument regarding a seat-swapping showdown mid-boarding has gone viral.
This is where an American Airlines passenger confronted a family for giving his $300 aisle seat to the child without asking first.
The passenger, later identified as Osaac Summer, was filmed scolding the parents after finding the young child seated in a seat he had paid for, as per the Daily Mail.
In the footage shared online by one user on TikTok, Summer is heard telling the family in a blunt tone, ‘Stay in your lane and in your seat!’
‘I don’t care about your daughter, your child, and none of that. I paid for this one!’- he continued.
The flyer posted the follow-up video days later, explaining his stance on the matter. He clarified what really happened. Speaking through TikTok, Summer mentioned how he’d intentionally booked the aisle seat to fly comfortably and insisted he never planned to cause any kind of drama.
Summer shared how the family had taken a seat without so much as a heads-up. He was offered a middle or window seat instead of what they wanted.
‘I really don’t want to take the seat from you and your child’- he shared with the mother. ‘But next time, it would be the best thing to ask before taking a seat!- he mentioned.
