David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Jennifer Aniston are reportedly in early talks about their plan to honor the late funnyman at the fast-approaching Emmy Awards next year.

It is believed that the five remaining ‘Friends’ are set to share their “personal memories” and stories from the moments they shared with the Chandler Bing actor.

The cast is allegedly also determined to give Perry the sendoff he “rightfully deserves.”

“When it comes to Matthew’s death, emotions are still running high and it is still a very touchy situation, which is totally understandable,” an insider said, DailyMail.com reported.

“But Jen, Lisa, and the rest of the cast want to honor him publicly at some point and give him the tribute he so rightfully deserves – and there have been rumblings to do it at next year’s Emmys.”

The source went on to say that while Perry will likely be featured in the Emmy Awards’ Memorium section, his former co-stars are determined to do something extra and get more involved in the sendoff.

“They all would love to get together on stage to speak about him and also have their own unique moment sharing memories about him and telling the world about the man he was in real life,” the source continued.

“If they can all agree on a worthy tribute and get the blessing of his family, they will absolutely get together to make that night a special moment for Matthew and all who loved him.”

“In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
