Terrifying reports are speaking about how a woman from Minnesota explained to a man that she just wanted to be friends and was not keen on getting romantically involved with him.
However, that might have rubbed him the wrong way as he felt humiliated after the rejection and the countless romantic advances he was making towards her.
Now, he’s charged with murder as sources have confirmed that he took her life shortly after that conversation with her.
Jose Luis Lopez Xique is charged with second-degree intentional murder in relation to the death of the 22-year-old Kayli Arseth, as confirmed by the Hennepin County Attorney’s office.
As per the probable cause statement shared by PEOPLE magazine, Arseth was found dead after suffering from several gunshot wounds inside her home in Richfield, Minnesota.
Arseth’s family had called for a welfare check after she failed to show up for plans and was not replying to any messages or calls, as shared by the statement.
There was a point where one neighbor heard her saying in an emotional tone, ‘how could you do this to me?’ And just several minutes later, the neighbor feared that something might have gone wrong as the person left.
As per the investigators, the duo met online and exchanged texts on Snapchat.
