Pope Francis is not happy with new President Donald Trump.
He shared how Trump’s plans for a mass deportation were sad and a total disgrace for the country.
He similarly urged the new Trump administration to rethink the decision and stop leading society with room for hatred.
Francis is famously known for his controversial remarks regarding Trump and even referred to him as ‘not Christian’ in the past for wishing to design a wall on the US and Mexico border.
When he asked about deportation pledges, the Pope did not hold back from speaking his mind.
He said that if this news was true it was a slap in the face for humanity and mankind. The Pope explained how this is not the right way to solve things. He hoped the new president could sit down and rethink that ordeal.
‘It is my request to you that under your leadership, the people of America will benefit. They should prosper and strive to build a just society’- his message for Trump stated.
We are not quite sure if any of these words will have any effect on Trump. He’s made it a point in his past campaign trails that this is an integral point that he would like to focus on.
