According to local media reports, one administration official has stated how the supply would soon be distributed in those areas that the government feels needs it most. And when asked by media officials to clarify what areas that was actually, he mentioned ‘areas where the shortage is most acute’.

The news comes as the country has faced a recording-breaking shortage of infant formula milk, resulting in so many moms switching to alternatives to help combat the very dire situation.

On the other hand, shocking reports have mentioned how at least four kids were reported as being hospitalized in the state of South Carolina just one week back and that was related to issues linked to the alarming shortage condition.

Similarly, many others revealed how their kids were allergic to other substitutes like cow’s milk and that is what put an increasing amount of pressure on the government to act swiftly.

Meanwhile, many critics claim that the shipment that has arrived would certainly not be enough as there are growing calls for more. And that’s when the Biden adminstration’s economic director stepped in to mention how more formula would soon be on its way in the upcoming week.

He also very conveniently shifted a huge chunk of the shortage’s blame upon the Abbott company as well as the current formula market for behaving in this way.

But critics of Biden’s administration disagree. Instead, they’re blaming the current administration for failing to act at the right time and for allowing the crisis to become this severe.

“They’ve taken way too long to get serious, it’s like they were dragging their feet to come and solve the baby formula crisis”- mentioned another critic recently.
