A printing firm in Michigan landed itself in hot water recently when one of the managers refused to print out a poster for a Charlie Kirk vigil, deeming it to be political propaganda.
The would-be client, who was a member of the Kalamazoo-based Republican Party Faction, then went on to the Office Depot outlet to confront the staffers there while they were filming. The footage made it on the internet, and it went viral in no time.
Footage of the exchange on Matthew S. DePerno’s X handle depicted a man stating the following: ‘We came in for an order earlier to print a poster for a vigil tonight!’
A woman at the front desk mentioned named Beryl was in shock, and she said, ‘Yeah, so we don’t print propaganda. ‘ This made the man so upset, and he shared: ‘It’s not propaganda!’
The female officer continued and said that it’s propaganda and we don’t do those types of things here at the office before trailing off. The man was seen taking the order to FedEx, which ended up apologizing and printing that poster for free.
The man explained how it was for a prayer vigil for someone that passed away. ‘What makes this propaganda?’ – another added, holding the camera. This news went viral in no time, and the officer was soon laid off from work, which made him very upset.
