President Donald Trump sacked his national security adviser, Mike Waltz, because he was trying to plot a bomb attack with an Israeli leader in Iran, after all efforts to reach a diplomatic solution failed.
Insiders shared more in a new bombshell report released last night, and that news didn’t make President Trump happy. He was forced to take extreme and swift measures to have him replaced.
Now, Mike Waltz will still be part of the Trump administration but will serve a less important role of being the UN ambassador.
51-year-old Waltz was first thought to be fired because he accidentally added a journalist to the Signal Chat regarding plans to attack Yemen’s Houthi terrorist group. Many felt this caused a serious amount of embarrassment to the entire Trump administration.
Last night, the Washington Post shared how the real reason was not yet revealed, and that had nothing to do with the Signal chat. It was the fact that Waltz found it okay to huddle with Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, during his visit in February.
He reportedly shared the same sentiments as the leader to strike Iran. This was not known to Trump at the time, but after being disclosed, Trump didn’t waste a second to have him replaced from the leading role.
