Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away, with the sad news being shared in a short but very touching statement by his grieving loved ones.
It was shared that Black Sabbath’s loved ones, including his wife of 40 years, gathered around him for the last time while he died tragically on Tuesday.
The news comes just two weeks after the rockstar frontman performed on stage for the last time for his Back to the Beginning show at the home of Aston Villa.
The family statement regarding his death mentioned: ‘He was with the family and surrounded by love!’ This was preceded by a location stamp that read: Birmingham, England July 22, 2025- adding how Ozzy made it back home for one final time. Both of them had spoken about waiting to move back to the UK from LA before his deteriorating health.
He mentioned how he was desperate to come home. While they had hoped to relocate in the past, ongoing health issues for Ozzy delayed the move as he battled Parkinson’s and underwent different surgeries for a spinal injury.
Ozzy always wished to spend his final time with his grandkids, explaining how he had no wish of dying inside a hotel room in some unknown city that was not home. Sadly, he was able to fulfill his wish as he was surrounded by the entire family.
