The leading comedian has filed for conservatorship after his wife’s medical illness was confirmed, as confirmed by media outlet Page Six.

As per reports from media outlet TMZ, the news was first rolled out after the diagnosis of Mavis Leno and that’s when TMZ claims to have published the reports.

“She had Alzheimer’s Disease and this diagnosis led to the conservatorship”- one leading insider added. But at the same time, the source failed to confirm when this occurred.

The hearing for this conservatorship was designated as April 9. There was a rep for the comedian who did explain that there was still a lot that’s yet to be confirmed by Leno.

The pair met during the 70’s era and that’s when they started to adore each other. And before you know it, they fell in love.

“At the start, it was very formal. They loved one another and the bond was always there. And then time went on and the rest of the story started to become related to history”- the insider explained.

In 1980, the pair tied the knot and it was interesting because friends and family members were appalled as the star was not too great with dating, another explained.

A profile of the star showed how he did manage to alter his wife’s views on things like marriage. His influence during her life was so significant and she did start believing in the concept of love as every day started to pass on.
